Day 1, Saturday: Moscow – Samarkand (flight, HY)

03:45 - Departure from Moscow by flight HY-606.

08:35 - Arrival in Samarkand.

Transfer to the city. Accommodation at hotel. Rest.

Lunch at the hotel.

13:00 - Start sightseeing "Shining face of the Earth" - the ancient Samarkand, heart of ancient Sogdiana: History Museum at the ancient city Afrosiab (VIII c. BC); Mausoleum Doniyor Paygambar (St.Daniel) (XIV, XX c.), revered by both Muslims, Christians and Jews; Ulugbek Observatory - here Ulugbek, ruler and a great scientist, a grandson of Timur (Tamerlane), was established the great observatory, where most famous scientists of his time was carried astronomical research. Here was made the most precise catalog of stars; Mausoleum complex Shahi-Zinda (XI-XV c.) – necropolis, consisting of more than 20 unique mausoleums of different times of construction. Shahi Zinda - a whole street of the medieval town, which is preserved to this day, where lies the oldest buildings in Samarkand; Hazrat Hyzr Mosque (XIX c.)



Day 2, Sunday: Samarkand

After breakfast - continued sightseeing: Gur-Emir Mausoleum (XIV-XV c.) - Timurids dynasty tomb; a masterpiece of medieval architecture and the main symbol of Samarkand - Registan Square: Ulugbek Madrasah (XIV c.), Sherdor Madrassah (XVII c.) and Tilla Kori Madrassah (XVII c.); Bibi Khanum Mosque (XIV c.) - one of the grandest mosques in the Middle Ages.

Beside to this mosque is located the oldest Siab Bazaar, the traditional "eastern" market in Samarkand. Has retained its unforgettable color and atmosphere, surprises tourists with its colorful and variety of products and goods.

Lunch at the traditional restaurant.

After lunch - a colorful presentation at the Theater of historical costumes "El Merosi".

Day 3, Monday: Samarkand-Bukhara (270 km, car/van/coach)

Day 4, Tuesday: Bukhara

After breakfast - a fascinating sightseeing of Bukhara - The city from Oriental tales: Ark Fortress (VII-XIX c.) - The main residence of the Emirs of Bukhara; Samanids Mausoleum (X c.) - Dynastic tomb of the Samanids, the Pearl of Bukhara and a masterpiece of world architecture; Ulugbek Madrasah ( XV c.); Poi-Kalon Square: Minaret Kalon (XII c.) - the highest in Central Asia, Miri Arab Madrasah (XVI c.) - active religious educational institution, Kalon Mosque (XV c.); Trading domes (XV-XVI c.) - Toki Zargaron (Jewelry Bazaar), Toki Sarrafon (Bazaar of Money changers - Medieval Currency Exchange), Toki-Telpak-Furushon (Bazaar of Hat sellers); Labi Hauz complex (XVI-XVII c.) - architectural complex, consist of ancient pond surrounded by three buildings - Kukeldash Madrassah, Nodir Divan-begi Madrassah and Khanaka - shelter for “dervishes” (wandering monks).

After lunch - continuation of excursion: Chor-Minor Madrasah (XIX c.); Kosh-Madrassah Ensemble (XVI c.): Abdullah Khan and Modari Khon Madrasahs; Magoki Attori Mosque (X-XVI c.) - The oldest mosque in Bukhara only one survived the invasion of Genghis Khan. There is evidence that prior to the XVII c., here together with Muslims also prayed Jews.

Dinner at the Madrasah "Nadir Devon Begi" (only in the summer, at other time – in the restaurant).


Day 5, Wednesday: Bukhara-Khiva (530 km, car/van/coach)

Early breakfast at the hotel, after which you will be an exciting journey to Khiva through the Kyzyl Kum Desert and along the Amu Darya River to the Khorezm oasis - a place of origin and development of ancient Khorezm civilization.

Lunch - picnic on the way (packed lunch) or a late dinner in Khiva.

Arrival in Khiva. Accommodation at the hotel.

Day 6, Thursday: Khiva-Urgench (30 km, car / minibus / coach bus) to Tashkent (flight, HY)

Day 7, Friday: Tashkent-Termez (flight, HY)

Day 9, Sunday: Termez-Moscow (flight, HY)
