Description: A fascinating cultural and educational tour from Tashkent to Samarkand - one of the oldest cities in the world, visiting historical monuments and masterpieces of medieval architecture. Route: Tashkent-Samarkand-Tashkent.

Day 1: Tashkent-Samarkand (300 km, car/van/coach)

06:00 - Meeting at an agreed place in Tashkent.

06:30 - Departure to Samarkand.

10:30/11:00/11:30 - Arrival in Samarkand.

Start Excursion "Saykali Rouyi Zamin".

In the excursion program - Ulugbek Obsevatory - pride of Ulugbek, ruler and a great scientist, grandson of Amir Timur (Tamerlane); Mausoleum Doniyor Paygambar (St.Daniel) (XIV, XX c.), revered by both Muslims and Christians and Jews; Mausoleum complex Shahi-Zinda (XI-XV c.), consisting of more than 20 unique mausoleums of different times of construction. Shahi Zinda - a whole street of the medieval town, which is preserved to this day, where lies the oldest buildings in Samarkand. Is an important place of pilgrimage.

13:00 - 14:00 - Lunch at a national restaurant.

14:00 - 19:00 - Continuation of excursion: 

Gur-Emir Mausoleum (XIV-XV c.) - Timurids dynasty tomb; Registan Square: Ulugbek Madrassah (XV c.), Sherdor Madrassah (XVII c.) and Tilla Kori Madrassah (XVII c.) - a masterpiece of medieval architecture and the main symbol of Samarkand; Bibi Honim Mosque (XIV c.), which was built by Timur as the largest mosque of its time.

Free time.

Dinner with cooking a real Uzbek “pilaf” in a National home.

Overnight.

Day 2: Samarkand-Hartang-Urgut-Samarkand-Tashkent (430 km, car/van/coach)

Breakfast at the hotel.

Start excursion to Hartang and Urgut.

Drive to Hartang (25 km).

In Hartang visiting Mausoleum complex Imam Al Bukhari. Imam Al-Bukhari - the greatest figure in Islam, the famous theologian of IX century. He - the author of "Al-Jami al-Sahih" - the first collection of authentic “hadith”, which is the second largest Muslim book after the Koran.

Return to Samarkand.

Seen Siab bazaar - the busiest and most ancient market town where you can go shopping and learn what real oriental bazaar. Market maintained its unforgettable color and atmosphere, surprising tourists with its colorful, variety of products and goods. Here you can taste and buy the famous Samarkand bread, oriental sweets, spices, fresh fruits, nuts and dried fruits.

Lunch.

Moving to Urgut (40 km).

Urgut - the old town at the foot of the Zeravshan Range, which is known as a major center of traditional crafts.

Visiting the unique millennial Chinars (platan) grove.

Visiting the Сraft workshops.


15:00 - Departure to Tashkent.

19:00/19:30/20:00 - Arrival in Tashkent. End of tour.
