Description: A fascinating tour to the ancient land of Uzbekistan, and the ancient city of the East – Termez, Shakhrisabz, Samarkand and Tashkent. Visiting ancient forts, Visiting ancient forts, archaeological and historical sites.

Route: Tashkent-Termez-Shakhrisabz-Samarkand-Tashkent

Day 1: Tashkent

Arrival in Tashkent. Transfer to the hotel. Accommodation.

Dinner.

Overnight.

Day 2: Tashkent-Termez (flight, HY-1157 or HY-1159)

Breakfast at the hotel.

After breakfast - start sightseeing in Tashkent, in which to explore the historical monuments of Tashkent - the Hazrati Imam Complex: Madrasah Barak-Khan (XVI, XIX c.), Mausoleum of Kaffal Shashi (XV c.), Madrasah Mui-Mubarak (XIX c.) , which houses the oldest Koran, written in VII.

Lunch.

After lunch - visit Memorial "In Memory of the Victims of Repression" - Memorial and Museum.

15:00 (16:00) - Transfer to the airport.

17:00 (18:30) - Flight to Termez, to the ancient land of Bactria.

18:15 (20:30) - Arrival in Termez.

Transfer to hotel. Accommodation.

Dinner.

Day 3: Termez

Breakfast at the hotel.

Start sightseeing in the ancient Termez.Termez - one of the oldest cities in the world, which, thanks to its key value on the Silk Road, played an important role in the dissemination and synthesis of various civilizations and cultures - Zoroastrian, Hellenistic, Buddhist and Muslim.

First of all, we will visit the Archaeological Museum, where you can become better acquainted with the ancient history of this region. Then we drive to the ruins of Old Termez (IX-XII c.); visit the Mausoleum of Al-Hakim Termeziy (XII-XV c.); Sultan Saodat Mausoleum (XIII-XIV c.) and Kirk-Kiz Nunnery (VI-XI c.).

Lunch.

After lunch we will continue the sightseeing in Termez. Buddhist monuments of Termez: Fayaztepa monastery (I-III c.), Stupa Zurmala (III c.).

After the sightseeing - free time.

Dinner with colorful folklore program.

Overnight.


Day 4:Termez-Jarkurgan-Dalvarzin-Termez (200 km, car/van/coach)

Breakfast at the hotel.

After breakfast, we will go on a tour to the ancient capital of the Kushan Empire - Dalvarzintepa. Our route passes through the picturesque valley of the Surkhandarya River.

On the way we will stop at Jarkurgan and visit the monument of medieval architecture - Jarkurgan minaret (XII c.).

Then, we visit a national home and sharing traditional food of Surkhandarya - "Tandoor-kebab" - lamb roasted in a special oven - "tandoor".

Lunch.


After lunch we continue the way and arriving at the village Dalvarzin, we will explore the archaeological excavations of the ancient city Dalvarzintepa (I c.).

Return to Termez.

On arrival - free time.

Dinner in a traditional restaurant.

Overnight.

Day 5:Termez-Shakhrisabz-Samarkand (435 km, car/van/coach)

Breakfast at the hotel.

Departure to Samarkand.

Our route passes through the picturesque gorges and passes of the Hissar range, hot steppe and blooming valley of Kashkadarya River.

On the way we will stop at Shakhrisabz – the homeland of Amir Timur (Tamerlane).

On arrival in Shakhrisabz - lunch.

After lunch – sightseeing in Shakhrisabz: Ak-Saray (XIV-XV c.) - the ruins of a grandiose palace of Timur; Complex Dor-us Saodat  (The Place of power, XIV-XVI c.) – the tomb of Tamerlane sons - Jahangir and Umar; Complex Dor-ut Tilovat (The Place of reflections, XIV c.) - mausoleum of Timur’s spiritual mentor - Sheikh Shamseddin Kulol, where also was buried Tamerlane father - Amir Taragai; Gumbazi Sayidon (XV c.) - mausoleum of Ulugbek descendants; cathedral Mosque Kuk Gumbaz (XV c.).

Then, we continue the way to Samarkand.

On arrival in Samarkand – accommodation at hotel. Rest after the trip.

Dinner.

Day 6: Samarkand

Breakfast at the hotel.

Then start sightseeing in "Rome of the East" - the ancient Samarkand, the capital of the Timurids Empire. During the tour you will visit the Ulugbek Observatory (XIV-XV c.) - the pride of Ulugbek, ruler and a great scholar, a grandson of Timur; Mausoleum Doniyor Paygambar (St.Daniel) (XIV, early XX c.), revered by both Muslims and Christians and Jews; History Museum in the ancient city Afrasiab (VIII c. BC); Mausoleum complex Shahi-Zinda (XII-XV c.) - necropolis consisting of more than 20 unique mausoleums of different times of construction. Shahi Zinda - a whole street of the medieval town, which is preserved to this day, where lies the oldest buildings in Samarkand; Bibi Hanum (XIV c.), built in honor of beloved wife of Temur.

Lunch in a traditional restaurant.

In the afternoon - visit Gur-Emir (XIV-XV c.) - dynastic tomb of Timurids; a masterpiece of medieval architecture and the main symbol of Samarkand - Registan Square: Ulugbek Madrasah (XV c.), Sherdor Madrassah (XVII c.) and Tilla Kori Madrassah (XVII c.).

After the sightseeing - free time.

Evening - dinner in a traditional restaurant with a colorful musical program.

Overnight.

Day 7: Samarkand-Hartang-Samarkand-Tashkent (50 km, car/van/coach; 360 km, train)

Breakfast at the hotel.

After breakfast - country trip to the village Hartang (Payaryk district) to attend the Memorial Complex of Imam al-Bukhari.

On return to Samarkand - visiting old Siab bazaar, where you will be able to know what the real orient bazaar. Market maintained its unforgettable color and atmosphere, surprising tourists with its colorful, variety of products and goods.

Dinner.

After lunch - free time.

16:00 - Transfer to the train station.

17:00 - Departure to the capital of Uzbekistan - Tashkent by high-speed train "Afrasiab."

19:40 - Arrival in Tashkent.

Transfer to hotel, accommodation.

Dinner.

Overnight.

Day 8: Tashkent

Breakfast at the hotel.

Free time.

Transfer to the airport.

Departure from Tashkent.
