To Holy Bukhara from Samarkand
Duration: 1 day Description: Intense historical tour and at the same time pilgrimage from Samarkand to the "Holy Bukhara", visiting historical monuments and masterpieces of medieval architecture. Tour is designed for visitors to our country, arrived in Samarkand and possessing a day off for a better acquaintance with the country. Route: Samarkand-Bukhara-Samarkand 05:00 - Meeting at an agreed place in Samarkand. 05:30 - Departure to Bukhara. 10:30 - Arrival in Bukhara.
You will visit the Ark Fortress (VII-XIX c.) - the main palace of Bukhara emirs; Samanids Mausoleum (X c.) - Dynastic tomb of Samanids, the pearl of Bukhara and a masterpiece of world architecture; Poi-Kalyan square: Minaret Kalyan (XII c.) - the most highest in Central Asia, Mir-Arab Madrassah (XVI c.) - acting Theological educational institution, Kalon Mosque (XV c.); Trading domes - Toki Zargaron, Toki Sarrafon, Toki Telpak-Furushon (XV-XVI c).
14:30-16:30 - Continue sightseeing: Labi Hauz complex (XVI-XVII c.); Memorial complex of Bahouddin Naqshband (XVI c.) - center of Naqshbandi Sufi order. Here is the tomb of the founder of the Order - Bahauddin Naqshband and necropolis of Bukhara rulers. 16:30 - Departure to Samarkand. 21:30 - Arrival in Samarkand.
