Samarkand Sightseeing tour (10 hours)
Description: An exciting and informative tour in Samarkand, one of the oldest cities in the world, visiting historical monuments and masterpieces of medieval architecture. This tour is specially designed for guests of our country that have a day off for a better acquaintance with the country. Samarkand - "Shining face of the Earth," "Rome of the East", one of the oldest cities in the world, the heart of the ancient Sogdiana and the capital of powerful Tamerlane empire. In the excursion program - Gur-Emir Mausoleum (XIV-XV c.) - Timurid dynasty tomb, Registan Square: Ulugbek Madrassah (XV c.), Sherdor Madrassah (XVII c.) and Tilla Kori Madrassah (XVII c.) - a masterpiece of medieval architecture and the main symbol of Samarkand; Congregational Mosque Bibi Honim (XIV c.), conceived by Timur as the biggest mosque and built in honor of his beloved wife.

19:00 - End of the tour. Transfer to the pre-agreed location (hotel, airport, train station or other).

Beside to the mosque - the famous Siab Bazaar, the oldest market in Samarkand. Market maintained its unforgettable color and atmosphere, surprising tourists with its colorful, variety of products and goods. Here you can taste and buy the famous Samarkand bread, oriental sweets, spices, fresh fruits, nuts and dried fruits.
Ulugbek observatory - pride of Ulugbek, ruler and a great scholar, a grandson of Timur; Mausoleum Doniyor Paygambar (St.Daniel), revered by both Muslims and Christians and Jews; History Museum in the ancient city Afrasiab (VIII c. BC); Mausoleum complex Shahi-Zinda (XI-XV c.) - Necropolis consisting of more than 20 unique mausoleums of different times of construction. Shahi Zinda - a whole street of the medieval town, which is preserved to this day, where lies the oldest buildings in Samarkand; Mosque Hazrat Khizr (VIII, XIX c.).
